In awe of very old things
The University of Saint Andrews anchors the small town of the same name on the east coast of Scotland, in a region known quaintly as the Kingdom of Fife. It’s a beautiful place, and a hub of culture and history. The West Sands beach, which lies adjacent to the Old Course (sacred ground for golfers the world over), was the setting for the famous opening scene of Chariots of Fire.
